Our commitment to service goes back to 1968, when Cliff Ronnenberg was the first to create a single storage container for delivery directly to a construction job site. From there, Haulaway and the entire portable, onsite storage industry was born. By 1970, we had made improvements to the product design and began manufacturing units of various sizes. From a small operation with one truck and ten containers, Haulaway has become the industry leader of onsite storage containers throughout the Western US. When you choose Haulaway, you’re choosing a solid, reliable company that’s always there with your storage needs.

Haulaway Storage Containers’ parent company is CR&R, in the predominant Orange County, as well as the greater Southern California area, continued to see exponential development throughout the 1960s and 70s and a transition from rural farming communities to a bustling metropolitan region. With Clifford’s construction background and an eye for spotting emerging trends, he identified a business opportunity to serve the burgeoning construction industry through the development of a portable storage container rental business. This resulted in the formation of Haulaway Storage Containers in 1968, a division of CR&R. Today, this company now has offices serving seven western states providing portable storage container needs for residential, construction, retail, schools, government, hospital, and office use
